Sheriff Plans Human Trafficking Prevention Symposium in January

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department and Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation (C.A.S.E.) are collaborating on four events to highlight the issue of human trafficking in our county.

Every Thursday, the community is invited to attend these educational events. A special High Desert Symposium from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 12 at High Desert Church in Victorville.

"Educators, professionals, and experts will provide information that will save lives," said Deputy Greg Jones, community liaison for the department. "This information is pivotal in reducing and illuminating human trafficking in the County of San Bernardino."
