High Desert Keepers Hosting 'Operation Phelan Square' Cleanup on Saturday

High Desert Keepers is hosting its next community cleanup, Operation Phelan Square, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.

Volunteers will meet behind the old Union Bank building, and lunch will be served promptly at 1 p.m., courtesy of Pizza Factory.

For the past seven years, High Desert Keepers has spent approximately $120,000 cleaning up trash in our region. The funds have gone toward equipment, vehicles and trailers, fuel, cleanup materials such as trash bags, insurance, vehicle maintenance, promotional items such as T-shirts, and food and snacks for volunteers.
