It was a beautiful afternoon in Apple Valley as the community celebrated the Grand Reopening and 60th anniversary of Victor Valley Animal Protective League.

Constituent Services Director Samuel Shoup was pleased to present a Certificate of Recognition to Board President Terry Saenz, whose passion for rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected animals is truly inspiring.

In addition to the “ribbon chewing,” the shelter debuted a renovated cattery and revealed its new designation as a Town of Apple Valley historical landmark.

Congratulations, VVAPL! Thank you to all of the board members and volunteers for your tireless dedication to our homeless pets as they await new and loving families.
