Angeles National Forest Seeks Public Comment on Mountain Bike Park

Angeles National Forest Supervisor Jerome Perez has released a proposal for mountain biking trails at Mountain High Resorts in Wrightwood.

According to the proposal, the mountain bike trails would follow existing ski trails and Blue Ridge Road, minimizing impact on the forest. The trails would also “be built using sustainable trail construction techniques, employing hand crews and small machinery. Best management practices would be implemented in order to minimize impacts to local environmental resources."

The public is invited to submit comments by March 9, 2022, and reference the Mountain High Resort Mountain Bike Trails CE.

Comment with the following information:

1) name, address, telephone number, organization represented, if any;

2) name of the proposal on which the comment is being submitted; and

3) specific facts and supporting reasons for consideration.
