Heading to the Mountains? Please Park Legally, Dispose of Trash
January 06, 2022
Our public safety personnel at San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, San Bernardino County Fire and CHP are encountering extremely challenging conditions responding to emergencies in our mountain communities due to high volumes of snowplayers.
If you are coming up to see the snow, please do not block the roadways and park only in designated areas. We also ask that visitors respect private property, and use the provided CR&R trash receptacles along the highway for trash, and port-a-potties at the community center (located on Park and Highway 2) for bathroom needs.
Wrightwood residents may call the Sheriff's non-emergency dispatch line at (760) 956-5001 for neighborhood concerns regarding snowplay, or the CHP information line at (760) 241-1186 to report highway violations. If visitors are causing damage to properties, businesses or engaging in other unsafe behavior — such as starting illegal fires — please call 911.
