Holiday Message from Supervisor Paul Cook

Xmas message

With the virus heavy on our minds, this year’s Christmas season is unlike any we have experienced. Many of us won’t be able to enjoy our time-honored holiday gatherings with extended family and friends, and although we mourn the comfort of those cherished traditions, we must stay vigilant.

Keep those strong connections with family and friends, even if they can’t be in person. Take comfort in the memories of holidays past, and find joyful moments in each day, no matter how small.

I hope you will join me in praying for an end to this pandemic as we move into a new, and hopefully brighter, year. With the vaccine's arrival in our county last week, and thousands of doses expected each week moving forward, there is light at the end of the tunnel. By working together in our communities, our county, and our state, we’re going to overcome COVID-19 and win this battle.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
