Guided Tours of Mitchell Caverns Resuming in September

Have you been to Providence Mountains State Recreation Area, "Home of Mitchell Caverns"?

The tour of Mitchell Caverns involves a 1 1/2-mile strenuous roundtrip hike to/from the caverns, followed by an hour guided tour of the cave. Tours of Mitchell Caverns operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holiday Mondays. Reservations are highly encouraged.

Mitchell Caverns is located off I-40 near Essex in the Mojave National Preserve. Call (760) 928-2586 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to reserve your spot!
