National Night Out to Be Celebrated Throughout High Desert on Tuesday

National Night Out arrives in the High Desert on Tuesday, August 2!

Started in 1984, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Apple Valley Police Department will host its National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. at Civic Center Park, located at 14999 Dale Evans Parkway. Check out police, fire & EMS vehicles while enjoying free hot dogs, face painting, balloon twisting and other family activities. 

Barstow Police Department's National Night Out will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Dana Park. The event will include free hot dogs, snow cones, a DJ, emergency vehicle displays, vendor booths, and plenty of family fun!

Hesperia Police Department's National Night Out will take place at Civic Plaza Park from 5-8 p.m. Enjoy lots of family fun, including a free bounce house, live music, safety vehicle tours, food vendors and more!

Helendale and Silver Lakes residents can join National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. at the Helendale CSD. This free event will include public safety displays, CHP, search and rescue teams, food trucks, K-9 demonstrations and more.

Victorville Police will celebrate the occasion from 5-8 p.m at Hook Park, located at 14973 Joshua Street. Enjoy games, giveaways, vehicle displays, and plenty of fun family activities.

Victor Valley Station deputies will host National Night Out at several locations throughout the City of Adelanto. The community is invited to attend between 5 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at Desert Capri Mobile Home Community (11423 Chamberlaine Way); from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at Casa Adelanto Apartment Community, (18400 Montezuma) and from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Adelanto Market Place (14168 Us Hwy 395). Residents can meet public safety officials in the community along with their mini-mascot, Tex.
