Thanks to everyone who joined us for the first-ever High Desert Crime Victims’ Memorial, which our office hosted in collaboration with the San Bernardino County District Attorney.

Held in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, this solemn event included prayers, music and support for individuals who have been victims or survivors of violent crime. Roughly 150 guests were in attendance.

We were blessed to have several community partners on site, who shared important resources to help crime victims on their healing journey.

Special thanks to District Attorney Jason Anderson; Bureau of Victim Services Chief Flerida Alarcon; Deputy Chief Rick Bessinger, Pastor Andrew Ferguson; Sheriff’s Corporal John Hayes; the Sheriff’s, District Attorney’s & Probation’s Honor Guards; and the Apple Valley High School Choir for participating in this very special inaugural event.
