Victorville Wellness Center Campus Celebrates Groundbreaking

Community Liaison Paul Marsh was pleased to join last week’s highly anticipated groundbreaking of the Victorville Wellness Center, an innovative 4 1/2-acre campus that will play a critical role in helping our homeless residents rebuild their lives. The event was well attended, featuring representatives for Governor Gavin Newsom, Assemblyman Thurston Smith, Senator Scott Wilk, Congressman Jay Obernolte, and numerous other stakeholders.

When complete, the Wellness Center will have 170 beds to accommodate homeless men, women & families in our region. Supportive services will include case management, medical care coordination, job training/placement and housing navigation. This center is the first of its kind to be built in San Bernardino County, and is certain to benefit the entire community!
