Silverwood Lake Hosting Monarch Butterfly Program on Saturday

Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area will host a special Monarch Butterfly Program on Saturday, geared to ages 4-12. The workshop, held in the Campfire Center, will teach children about the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly, followed by a craft activity to take home. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire program. Parking is available at the Nature Center. The program is free with park admission of $10 per vehicle.
