In anticipation of a very hot summer in the High Desert, Victor Valley Community Services Council is preparing for a monthly volunteer cleanup of weeds and other debris at the homes of local senior citizens.

Through its Chore Program funded by the County of San Bernardino Title IIIB grant, VVCSC will aid seniors 60 and over who are on fixed incomes and too frail to be able to care for their own property before they are levied code enforcement fines. The council is seeking volunteers for its clean up days, and they will supply all of the equipment needed.

Clean up days are scheduled on the second Saturday of each month, with April 9 being the next scheduled event. If you or your group can help, please call (760) 243-9646. Victor Valley Community Services Council is located at 16692 Mojave Drive, Victorville.
