Operation Hammer Strike Completes 6 Months of Illegal Marijuana Probes

The Sheriff’s Department’s “Operation Hammer Strike” hit a major milestone last week as it completed 6 months of illegal marijuana investigations throughout San Bernardino County. Since the program began, the Marijuana Enforcement Team and deputies have made great progress. Here are the stats so far:

  • 588 search warrants served
  • 668,299 marijuana plants seized
  • 111,268.8 pounds of processed marijuana seized
  • 203 guns seized
  • 30.7 pounds of concentrated marijuana seized
  • 92.8 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms
  • 144 grams of meth and cocaine
  • $2,399,595.00 in illegal narcotic sales proceeds
  • 15 THC extraction labs mitigated
  • 28 electrical bypasses
  • 7 stolen vehicles recovered
  • 4,124 greenhouses eradicated
