Victor Valley College Students to Build Tiny Homes for Homeless Veterans

Victor Valley College has partnered with Operation Confidence to build homes for homeless veterans at a new Veterans Village in Adelanto.

The 6-week program begins January 4, and runs three days a week from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.. During the winter construction academy, students will learn construction fundamentals, and earn three certificates and 5 college credits. The course will conclude with a hands-on project building a 10x14-foot tiny home complete with electrical panels, picture windows, recessed lighting and an outdoor terrace.
