Free COVID testing and vaccines still being offered throughout High Desert

Although 53.4 percent of our County is fully vaccinated, it's still important to get tested if you are feeling ill. There are still several locations throughout the First District offering free testing. Here are a few:

Free COVID Testing Sites

Victor Valley College, 65 Mojave Fish Hatchery Rd., Victorville Portables located behind Construction Technology Building 65. Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. -7 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Hook Community Center, 14973 Joshua St., Victorville. Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Burning Bush Church, 14849 7th Street, Victorville. The community is invited to drive through or walk up for self-swab testing on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., every second Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., and the first, third and fourth Thursdays of the month from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, please call 760-241-6221.

September 8-10: SBCSS High Desert, 17800 CA-18, Apple Valley. 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.Choice of Pfizer Vaccine (ages 12+) or Johnson & Johnson Vaccine (ages 18+) who live or work in San Bernardino County. Register at MyTurn.ca.gov or walk in.

September 9: Barstow Community College, 2700 Barstow Rd., Barstow. 1-5 p.m. Choice of Pfizer Vaccine (ages 12+) or Johnson & Johnson Vaccine (ages 18+) who live or work in San Bernardino County. Register at MyTurn.ca.gov or walk in.

September 10: Riverside Preparatory High School, 19900 National Trails Hwy., Oro Grande. 3-7 p.m. Choice of Pfizer Vaccine (ages 12+) or Johnson & Johnson Vaccine (ages 18+) who live or work in San Bernardino County. Register at MyTurn.ca.gov or walk in.
