County Mourns Loss of Sergeant Dominic Vaca

I'd like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of San Bernardino County Sheriff Sgt. Dominic Vaca, a 17-year veteran of the Department who was tragically murdered Monday while on duty.

Sgt. Vaca was a true professional who died protecting his community, and he will be deeply missed. If you would like to help Sgt. Vaca's wife and children, a donation site has been created by the Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association with a campaign goal of $250,000.
