Apple Valley Legacy Museum Planning Several Events Showcasing the High Desert's History

Would you like to learn more about Apple Valley's famous Western legends Roy Rogers and Dale Evans? Or perhaps you'd like to peruse displays and artifacts showcasing the rich history of Apple Valley and our surrounding High Desert.
If so, a visit to the Apple Valley Legacy Museum makes a great day trip. Since opening in 2015, this free museum has hosted dozens of fun events, ranging from steak frys and ho-downs to tours of the famous Apple Valley Inn.
On Thursday, May 27, the Mohahve Historical Society will be at the museum to present “Apple Valley Curiosities” from 6 to 8 p.m. On June 12, the museum is planning its annual "Shindig" from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. featuring music, a narrated historical hayride, dinner and more.
"We love being a part of the community and look forward to hosting many more phenomenal events," says docent Marcy Taylor. "Happy Trails and, in the words of Roy Rogers, 'May the Good Lord take a liking to you!' "
