VA Loma Linda now offering Mobile Vaccinations

VA Loma Linda Healthcare System has launched a program called "Operation Outreach," providing mobile COVID-19 vaccination visits to Veterans, spouses and caregivers ages 18 and up. This program is for homebound veterans, or veterans with limited transportation. For more information, please call 909-825-7084 ext. 4225 to schedule a one and done vaccination home visit.

Local high schools hosting vaccination events this week

COVID-19 vaccines are now being offered at high schools throughout the First District, thanks to a partnership with San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. All residents ages 12 and up may either make an appointment through https://myturn.ca.gov/ or walk in at the designated dates and times to receive their 1st dose appointment of the Pfizer Vaccine.

Following are some of the events planned this week:

May 26: Adelanto High School, 15620 Joshua Rd., Adelanto, CA 92301. Hours: 3-7 p.m.

May 27: Oak Hills High School, 7625 Cataba Rd., Oak Hills, CA 92344. Hours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

May 27: Mojave River Academy, 12384 Palmdale Rd., Victorville, CA 92392. Hours: 4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

May 28: Apple Valley Unified School District, 12555 Navajo Rd., Apple Valley, CA 92308. Hours: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

May 28: Sultana High School, 17311 Sultana St., Hesperia, CA 92345. Hours: 2-6 p.m.

May 28: Lakeview Leadership Academy, 12484 Tamarisk Rd., Victorville, CA 92395. Hours 3-7 p.m.

Residents may also visit Hesperia Health Center (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Hook Community Center (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) Tuesdays-Saturdays. Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church in Apple Valley also has appointments.
