San Bernardino County Code Enforcement begins Fire Hazard Abatement in mountains

San Bernardino County Code Enforcement has started Fire Hazard Abatement in our mountain communities. The removal of fire hazards is vital in ensuring that communities are safe for residents and first responders during a wildfire.

The crews will be addressing the following items:

  • Grasses and weeds over 4 inches in height
  • Combustible debris
  • Leaves and pine needles on roofs
  • Flammable vegetation 10 feet from roadsides
  • High-energy release shrubs
  • Tree spacing
  • Dead vegetation
