Did you know that San Bernardino County's Workforce Development Board offers free resources for job seekers? Here are just a few of the events planned every week:
Resume Workshops are offered at 10 a.m. every Wednesday via Zoom. During the meeting, you'll learn the purpose of a resume, what recruiters want to see, how to create an updated resume for the current workforce, and types of resumes. Learn more and register here.
Truck Driver Workshops are offered at 10 a.m. every Thursday via Zoom. These workshops provides information about how to get into trucking, where the jobs are and how much time is involved in the training. To register, click here.
Rapid Response Presentations: If you were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Workforce Development offers webinars every Thursday to assist with frequently asked questions. Learn about unemployment insurance, the Affordable Care Act, child support, training grants and much more. Register here.
