U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs extends existing moratoriums on evictions, foreclosures

On Tuesday, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it would extend a postponement of evictions and foreclosures for Veterans with VA-backed home loans who are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The current moratorium extensions were set to end March 31, but are now extended to June 30, 2021. The VA also announced that it is launching a series of virtual job fairs connecting Veteran doctors, nurses, police, engineers and other occupations with recruiters. The series will be hosted the fourth Wednesday of every month. Registration is now open for the first event on February 24. For more information, click here.
