High-speed rail receives key approval for link into LA

Brightline achieved another major milestone last week as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) issued a decision and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for Brightline West’s project between Rancho Cucamonga and Victor Valley. The Environmental Assessment evaluated the rail project in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Council on Environmental Quality’s (CEQ) NEPA implementing regulations, FRA’s Environmental Impact and Related Procedures, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Endangered Species Act, and other applicable regulations.
