Operation Dirtbike Freedom (ODF), a nonprofit that teaches Veterans, active duty military, and their families how to ride a dirt bike, is planning its next outing on Sunday, July 23.

This free event, located north of Victorville, will also feature free tacos and aqua frescas. Gear and bikes (for adults and children) are also provided.

"Operation Dirtbike Freedom was started to give back to those who have served this country," said ODF founder Ken Colburn. "We show Vets and active duty military all about the fun of dirt bike riding. We start right at the basics, with a small dirt bike in a safe clear area. Everyone who goes has a great time."

Operation Dirtbike Freedom also has a target shooting range with separate pistol and rifle sections. Ammunition is not supplied.
