San Bernardino County Regional Parks Kicks Off 2023 Summer Programs

San Bernardino County Regional Parks has kicked off its summer programs with a variety of fun family activities and special events. Here are a few worth checking out:

  • Calico Ghost Town will host Movies in the Park on June 16 with the film “Holes.” Yard games begin at 7 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk. 
  • Mojave Narrows Regional Park will celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21 with self-guided exercises for the mind and body. 
  • Calico Ghost Town is hosting a special “S’mores and Campfire Stories” event from 8-10 p.m. June 26.  
  • Mojave Narrows Regional Park is hosting Movies in the Park on July 5 with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Yard games begin at 7 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk. 
  • Calico Ghost Town is hosting Movies in the Park again on July 11, featuring “Rango.” Yard games begin at 7 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk.  
  • Mojave Narrows Regional Park will host a Horseshoe Toss Tournament from 2-4 p.m. July 20.

Calico Ghost Town is located at 36600 Ghost Town Road in Yermo. Mojave Narrows is located at 18000 Yates Rd, Victorville. Cost is $10 per vehicle, or free if camping. For more information, visit parks.sbcounty.gov or call 909-387-2757.
